IDG Ventures has teamed up with Microsoft to offer young technology companies a path to venture capital funding. Under this program, Microsoft will offer startup companies development and desktop software at no charge, and IDG Ventures will consider them for venture capital funding of up to $5m. To qualify for the program, the company must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Should be a running business (not a paper plan)
• Should be less than 3 years old
• Revenue in last financial year should be less than $1m

Evaluation Process:

• Apply for the Funding Program by filling the short form below
• All companies meeting the eligibility criteria will be given access to Microsoft development software
• Selected companies will be asked to submit business plans to IDG Ventures
• Once business plans are submitted, IDG Ventures will follow its standard investment process to evaluate them for funding
